Security Awareness Training
Information Technology Services has had an ongoing partnership with KnowBe4, the world's largest security awareness training platform, to bring security awareness training to all App State employees, student employees with access to university data, emeritus professors and select university affiliates.
Cybercrime is a serious problem. Cyber criminals are always coming up with new ways to trick unsuspecting users into clicking on dangerous links or opening malicious attachments in their email.
By completing annual security awareness training, these university populations will be equipped with the skills needed to defend university data, as well as personal data, against phishing and malicious activities accomplished through human interactions.
